Yoga is a Hindu spiritual and ascetic discipline which including breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures, and sometimes mantra chanting. All Yoga classes are headed by The Movement School's co-founder Katka Scott. Kat is passionate about holistic health, wellness, and clean living. She began her yoga journey in 2004, and found it was the best to heal and stay balanced after watching her mother lose a hard battle with cancer. She completed the GaiaTri Yoga Alliance certified 200 hour teacher training in 2014, as well as a Prenatal/Postnatal 20 hour training in 2015. Kat takes a unique and intuitive approach to Yoga given her extensive experience and training with massage therapy and rehabilitation. She likes to challenge people in her classes, but also strives to bring a sense of calm and practical self awareness.

Parent and tot yoga  Now that your baby is a toddler, they often like to participate with you! We’ll do lots of fun poses that can include them, and finish with a simple mantra or song that they can learn too. Recommended Ages 1.5-3 years old.
